Joe Gilbert Watch – Jaguars in week 1

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – NFL football is back for the new season.

And Horseheads’ own Joe Gilbert returns to the Carolina Panthers for his second season as offensive line coach. Now in his twelfth overall season in the NFL, Gilbert will look to help the Panthers get back to prominence and start the season off with a win. Sunday, Carolina travels to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at 1 PM on Fox.

Last season, Carolina finished just (5-12) and will be aiming to turn the tide this year in the standings.

Gilbert has spent nearly 40 years in the coaching ranks at all levels including time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for five seasons highlighted by a Super Bowl victory in 2020.
