Ahead of their Week 1 matchup with the Carolina Panthers, the Jacksonville Jaguars released their second injury report, and it mirrors what we saw on Wednesday.

For the second day in a row, cornerback Montaric Brown is listed as a non-participant with an ankle injury. Offensive lineman Wytta Milum was a non-participant with a knee injury, while offensive lineman Cole Van Lanen was limited again with a shoulder injury.

If Brown is unable to go this week, based on what we saw during training camp, Jarrian Jones could be in line to start opposite of Tyson Campbell on the outside.

If the Jaguars are without Milum, Chuma Edoga will likely be the first guard–or tackle–option off the bench for Jacksonville.

As of now, it remains to be seen whether or not Van Lanen will be available after being limited the first two days. If he can go, he provides added tackle depth. If the Jaguars are without him, then we could see a practice squad elevation on Sunday to bolster the overall depth up front.

For the Panthers, left tackle Ikem Edwonu was a non-participant for the second day. He had emergency surgery to remove his appendix last week. If he can’t go, Yosh Nijman or Brady Christensen are left tackle options for Carolina.

For the second day in a row, guards Robert Hunt (foot) and Damien Lewis (shoulder, ankle) were both limited, while cornerback Damarri Mathis (knee) was downgraded to a non-participant.

Added to the Panthers’ injury report was defensive end A’Shawn Robinson (groin). He was limited on Thursday.
