Week 1 is here. The Washington Commanders finished their week of practice on Friday for Sunday’s NFL season opener against the New York Giants.

On Friday, head coach Dan Quinn met with the media with good news: everyone was healthy and available for Sunday’s opener, including wide receiver Noah Brown and cornerback Jonathan Jones. Neither player practiced Friday, but Quinn said it was a veteran rest day for both. Brown has been bothered by a knee injury since he was carted off the field with a knee injury during June’s minicamp.

As for the Giants, they listed All-Pro left tackle Andrew Thomas on Friday’s injury report as doubtful with a foot injury. Thomas was limited on Wednesday, missed Thursday’s practice, and was limited on Friday.

Meanwhile, wide receiver Malik Nabers did not participate during Friday’s practice with what was reported as a back injury. He’s fine, per according to head coach Brian Daboll.

“We’re going to back down on Malik today. But he’ll be alright,” Daboll said per Dan Benton of Giants Wire. “Just back down on him a little bit. He’ll be fine for the game.”
