LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Love her or hate her, posts on X about Taylor Swift have skyrocketed since the announcement of her engagement to Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce on Aug. 26.
Specifically looking at negative posts from the NFL fan base, it may not shock you to learn that Raiders fans are the couple’s biggest haters, new data shows.

The Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs have had a rivalry going back nearly 60 years, a rivalry that even led to a major rule change in 1970, according to Sports Casting.
But the rivalry doesn’t just stick to the teams. The fanbases of both teams have been known to disagree, with one notable example being the time an at-the-time Oakland Raiders fan sued the Chiefs for assault after a fight in Arrowhead Stadium in 2011.
So, it comes as no surprise that Raiders fans came out on top in the list of haters for Swift and Kelce’s engagement.

A graphic created by Bet Online shows negative tweets from each NFL fan base toward the Swift-Kelce engagement.
The data in the graph above shows the number of negative tweets from each NFL fan base toward the engagement, with the Raiders at the top of the list with more than 14,000 tweets recorded.

These negative tweets included fan hashtags like #RaiderNation, #BillsMafia, and #GoNiners. Examples of tweets that popped up on the day of the announcement include “I don’t care. #GoNiners,” “Excited for the divorce. Go Raiders!” “Hope she has a prenup! #BillsMafia”
Other tweets included in the data mentioned keywords like divorce, prenup, alimony, and breakup. The data set was created from more than 160,000 posts.
No surprises, the fanbase for the Chiefs sits at the bottom of the list with only 700 tweets.
The other two teams that make up the AFC West, the Denver Broncos and the L.A. Chargers, also made it into the top five, along with the Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals.
