ASHBURN, Va. (7News) — The Washington Commanders have a revamped locker room.

During the offseason, the locker room at team headquarters in Ashburn underwent a complete overhaul.

This was a top priority for ownership and the front office. Happy players usually mean better results on the field.

Outside of the individual lockers themselves, the space features a new sound system, a new, bigger sauna, a new steam room, more private showers, more toilets and a sitting area with sofas.

“It shows they take care of the players, so that’s a big thing,” Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels said. “They’re willing to invest and make sure that we’re okay and we’re right and we’re happy. So, that’s the biggest thing.”
