A former Green Bay Packers quarterback was cited with disorderly conduct after allegedly grabbing the neck of a bartender. The incident occurred after 11 p.m. Aug. 29 at Brothers on Water Street in Eau Claire. According to the police report, Majkowski and another man were starting to push each other near the bar. When a bartender tried to break up the fight, he said Majkowski grabbed his throat. A picture with the police report (seen above) shows red marks on the bartender’s neck after the incident, WQOW-TV reported. The police report says Majkowski was extremely intoxicated and unable to unlock his phone to call Uber. An officer took him to the Best Western where he said he was staying. While in the car, Majkowski told police he was “jumped” because boyfriends of the girls at the bar were jealous of him because he is a former NFL player.A few minutes after Majkowski was dropped off at the hotel, staff at the Best Western called police and said the intoxicated man did not have a room there. Officers went back, picked him up and took him to the Best Western.The citation was filed Sept. 2. Majkowski has a court hearing scheduled for Sept. 30.
