The Buffalo Bills will be without at least one key player Sunday night when they kick off the season against the Baltimore Ravens.

The team placed kicker Tyler Bass on injured reserve, meaning he will miss at least the first four weeks of the season.

The club on Thursday signed veteran kicker Matt Prater, preparing for the potential of this happening.

Cornerback Tre’Davious White also didn’t practice Friday, and is listed as “doubtful” to play on Sunday.

If White is out, the Bills might have to rely on backup Ja’Marcus Ingram or rookie Dorian Strong on defense.

“When you’re young and you’re getting these valuable reps, experience, if you’re wired the right way, you’re learning from the positives and some of the negatives as well,” said Bills head coach Sean McDermott. “Those growing pains, if handled the right way, set you up for future success and I think there’s value in that.”

Wide receiver Keon Coleman is dealing with groin soreness, but he practiced in full Friday.

The Bills and Ravens face off Sunday at 8:20 p.m.
