The Seattle Seahawks will host the San Francisco 49ers on Sept. 7 at Lumen Field in the opening game of the NFL regular season.
This is Seattle head coach Mike Macdonald’s second season leading the Seahawks. The former Ravens defensive coordinator was hired as the Seahawks’ head coach in January 2024.

Heading into the first game, the team is looking “fairly healthy” with minimal injuries in the off- and pre-season, according to The Seattle Times.
