One of the fun things about this being Week 1 is that we haven’t seen enough from any of the 32 NFL teams to really know who the dominant forces are yet. As a result, the betting lines are pretty slim in most of the remaining 14 games in Week 1.
All but one.

Of the 14 games still to be played between Sunday and Monday, all of them have a spread of a touchdown or less. The lone exception is the Sunday late-afternoon game with the Tennessee Titans at the Denver Broncos.
According to DraftKings, Denver is currently favored by 8.5 points, making them the only team projected to win by more than one score. Titans reporter John Glennon noted on Thursday that the line was nine points – a 2.5-point change from May.

Why is this game so lopsided?
There’s a lot to love about the Denver Broncos this year and a lot NOT to love about the Tennessee Titans.
Denver shocked the world by making the playoffs with rookie quarterback Bo Nix last season. But it was their defense that truly starred, ranking top-10 in both points and yards allowed. They went 10-7 and many analysts are projecting them to make a real challenge for the division.
The outlook is far less kind for the Titans. Tennessee head into this year with a rookie starting quarterback in Cam Ward on a roster that has no outstanding talents on either side of the ball and a head coach that is widely believed to be on the hot seat. They may have ranked second in yards allowed, but they ranked 30th in points allowed and were a bottom-10 offense in 2025.

Simply put, Denver has all of the hype while Tennessee has none of it. That’s why all of the betting money is being moved to the Broncos.
But we’ve seen far bigger upsets in NFL history. For all we know the Titans or Broncos will surprise us in some way.
Do you think the Titans can shock the world in Week 1?
