Jags Forecast
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Pack the poncho along with your patience if you’re going to the Jaguars game today. The home opener will likely be a wet one to start.
Breaks in the clouds will allow the sun to warm up Everbank Stadium to the upper 80s around kickoff, but showers and possible thunderstorms will be possible throughout the game. Humidity will remain high, keeping the feels-like temperature in the upper 90s.
As a local Nor’easter begins to set up offshore, the onshore winds will bring rainy weather to the coast before the heat of the day fuels the afternoon showers. Can’t rule out heavy downpours, frequent lightning, and gusty winds to accompany isolated storms.
Sunday Futurecast
The next few days will be rainy, with mostly cloudy skies and gusty conditions as the winds prevail from the northeast. The possibility of localized flooding in low-lying areas is something to be cautious about over the next 3-5 days, especially during high tide.
High temperatures will stay below normal only reaching the mid-80s.
