In a competitive AFC, the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills are poised to be contenders once again in the 2025 NFL season. The two teams provided a close battle in the divisional round of the AFC playoffs last year and they’ll meet on “Sunday Night Football” in the first week of the new season.

Baltimore returns most of its starters on offense from a year ago when it was the No. 1 offense by yards in the NFL and No. 3 in points scored. Tight end Isaiah Likely was one of multiple players to enjoy a career season in 2024 with 477 receiving yards and six touchdowns in nine starts.

Likely is entering his fourth year in the NFL after the Ravens selected him in the fourth round, No. 139 overall. He could see an even bigger role in 2025 as longtime starter Mark Andrews enters the final year of his current contract.

Unfortunately, Likely suffered a small foot fracture during training camp on July 29. He was carted off and underwent surgery shortly after to repair it ahead of the regular season.

Here’s the latest on his status for Week 1.

Is Isaiah Likely playing vs Bills?

Baltimore’s injury report listed Likely as a “DNP” (did not practice) for Wednesday’s practice ahead of “Sunday Night Football” against Buffalo. He is not expected to play against the Bills, per reports.
