Top to bottom, the #4 Oregon Ducks have as much future NFL talent as anybody in the country. In Eugene, there are guys in every position group who will hear their names called during draft weekend. At the skill positions, they have an insane amount of speed and athleticism, up and down the depth chart.
Dante Moore was considered by some to be the top quarterback in his recruiting class, and he flipped his commitment from Oregon to UCLA in 2022. After one season at UCLA, he transferred to Oregon, ultimately making the same decision that he initially made.

He now his true chance this season now that historically good quarterback Dillon Gabriel is with the Cleveland Browns. Moore led the quack attack to 69 points yesterday, against power four conference opponent Oklahoma State. Yes, Ok. St. isn’t what they were when super mega donor T. Boone Pickens was still alive, but that was a pure “ass-kicking” as Oregon coach Dan Lanning put it.
Moore led the Ducks to 59 points against FCS opponent Montana State in the opener. So that’s 65 points per game right now.
Maybe Moore is a 2027 draft prospect, but he’s surrounded by weapons who will be a part of this upcoming draft. Running back Makhi Hughes is projected to be a 3rd to 4th round prospect, but he hasn’t even gotten on track yet this season. He’s actually sixth on the team in rushing, through the first two games.
Again, it’s a young season. And with that in mind, it’s time we mention this insane statistic- Oregon has three running backs who are averaging more than 11 yards per carry.

You have Noah Whittington (14 carries, 159 yards, 11.4 ypc), Jayden Limar (9 carries, 107, 11.9 ypc) and Dierre Hill Jr. (6 carries, 67 yards, 11.2 yards per carry) all above that first down and another yard average.
This is a position group that will eventually see multiple guys playing on Sundays.
