It was an interesting Sunday in Week 1 in the NFL. Games went right down to the wire. Some were ugly. Others were wild.

The Arizona Cardinals picked up a season-opening win on the road. The NFC West went 3-1. The Buffalo Bills had a wild comeback win Sunday night over the Baltimore Ravens.

NFL Week 1 scores

Buccaneers 23, Falcons 20

Baker Mayfield threw three touchdown passes, two to rookie receiver Emeka Egbuka, and the Falcons missed a 44-yard field goal with two seconds left in the game for the tie.

Bengals 17, Browns 16

The Bengals only had 141 total yards of offense, but the Browns had two turnovers and a missed field goal.

Colts 33, Dolphins 8

The Dolphins only had 211 yards of offense and Tua Tagovailoa threw two interceptions. The Colts rushed for 156 yards. Daniel Jones, in his Colts debut, threw a touchdown pass and rushed for two others.

Jaguars 26, Panthers 10

The Panthers had two turnovers and had only 255 yards of offense.

Raiders 20, Patriots 13

Geno Smith passed for 362 yards and a touchdown in his Raiders debut.

Cardinals 20, Saints 13

Kyler Murray threw two touchdown passes and, despite only 276 yards of offense, held the Saints to 315 and only allowed three second-half points.

Steelers 34, Jets 32

Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdown passes in his Steelers debut. Justin Fields threw a touchdown pass and rushed for two scores in a losing effort.

Commanders 21, Giants 6

The Commanders outgained the Giants 432 to 231 in yards as the Giants failed to score a touchdown in Russell Wilson’s debut.

Broncos 20, Titans 12

Broncos QB Bo Nix threw two interceptions, but the Denver defense limited the Titans to 133 total yards and 2-of-13 on third downs.

49ers 17, Seahawks 13

Brock Purdy threw a touchdown pass to Jake Tonges with 1:34 left in the game, and Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold fumbled in the red zone with under a minute left. Ourdy threw two interceptions in the win.

Packers 27, Lions 13

Jordan Love threw two touchdown passes and the Packers never trailed in the game.

Rams 14, Texans 9

The Rams held the Texans to three field goals, and Puka Nacua had 10 receptions for 130 yards.

Bills 41, Ravens 40

Josh Allen threw for 394 yards and two touchdowns, and the Bills came back from down 40-25 in the fourth quarter. Matt Prater, recently signed by the Bills, hit a game-winning field goal as time expired.
