A pair of NFL teams have been linked with a trade for Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill following his outburst on his team’s bench during a loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
Hill, who has been named in a new lawsuit in which his former spouse, Keetah Vaccaro, leveled some serious domestic violence allegations, is thought to be headed towards a trade, with rumors expected to spin well over a month ago.
According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, Tyreek Hill “will be this year’s Davante Adams” if Miami’s fortunes don’t change. The wideout is signed through 2026 and will make $36 million next year, carrying a cap hit of $51.89 million, and he isn’t expected to return after next season.
Florio has named Hill’s former team, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Pittsburgh Steelers as two organizations that could trade for the eight-time Pro Bowler.
“The Chiefs could use him, before and after Rashee Rice returns from his six-game suspension,”Florio suggests.
“Second, the Steelers. There’s already chatter, in the aftermath of Sunday’s win over the Jets, that the all-in Steelers could go even more all-in by making a move for Hill,” he added.
The Steelers are already paying DK Metcalf $30 million a year, but Florio says they don’t have a clear-cut WR2.

The feeling in Pittsburgh should be extremely positive after their win against the New York Jets on Sunday. Aaron Rodgers could not hide how good it felt to beat his old team, but they could still use another top receiver.
“Also, between Rodgers and coach Mike Tomlin and other veteran leaders, the Steelers could potentially manage Hill, who would likely be so thrilled to get to a contender that he’d be on his best behavior for at least the rest of the season,” Florio also notes.
The journo hasn’t ruled out other teams, as it would be foolish to think that half the league wouldn’t be in for the wideout should he become available.
Adams left the Las Vegas Raiders for a third-round pick last season, and Florio has suggested that a similar package could convince Miami to let Hill walk if they aren’t feeling positive about making the playoffs after Week 9.
