The Ravens Flock is gearing up for the Ravens’ home opener against the Cleveland Browns Sunday, with a fan-favorite yearly tradition. Fans lined up outside M&T Bank Stadium Wednesday morning to get their cars stenciled, and WBAL-TV was there to see fans’ excitement before the big game.Fans like Mimi Knight were getting Raven-ized ahead of the home opener Sunday, and stenciling is just the start. She lined up before sunrise to get her car stenciled. “So, I first arrived about 3 a.m. and there were no cars, nothing in sight. I went back home, and I got back about 4:30, 4:45 a.m. to be the first one in line,” Knight said. And she was first as music, cheerleaders and the Ravens’ mascot Poe ushered cars into Lot D, where the Ravens throwback logo, representing 30 seasons, was sprayed on windows, turning fans into the flock. Several other fans joined in on the tradition.”Oh, the throwback logo, what the heck, I love it. I’m feeling it. I’ve been here since 1996, (when) they started this and I’ve been going at it ever since. I’m truly a Ravens fan 100%,” Ravens fan Charles Pittman said. Some fans, like Jerad Thompson, came with predictions for the game.”I got a feeling that I think we can go with just three losses, and we better make it to the playoffs to get to that AFC championship. So, I think we can do it,” Thompson said.”I am so ready. We got a battle between Lamar and Flacco and Lamar is definitely winning. Definitely winning. Go Ravens,” Ravens fan Anthony Bell said. Bell may have just come for the stencil, but left with so much more, as the Ravens and Dunkin’ surprised him with tickets to the home opener.”It feels awesome, thank you, Dunkin’ Donuts. Thank you so much,” Bell said. ” (I’m) very surprised, very surprised, because I got up this morning. I (saw) the stencil. I said I (got to) get down here before I go to work, and oh my God! I got tickets before I go to work. I’m shaking.”
