Micah Parsons took another shot at the Cowboys, speaking to the differences he sees between the Packers org and facility and Dallas.
It’s been 15 days since Jerry Jones traded star pass rusher Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers, but the story hasn’t ended there. Both sides have taken shots at each other since the trade heard ’round the world and it might not stop anytime soon.
After the deal, Jones and the Dallas Cowboys organization had their say with their initial press conference, which has prompted responses not only from Parsons, but his agent as well. The latest shot came from Parsons after his Packers beat the Washington Commanders, 27-18, on Thursday Night Football. Parsons was on the set for a post-game interview when he swiped at the Cowboys‘ facilities, as well as AT&T Stadium.
Maybe he was trying to just complement his new surroundings and endear himself to the Packer fans, but it felt like Parsons was also taking a jab at the Cowboys and ‘Jerry World.’ The comment also came on the heels of Packers fans chanting “Thank you Jerry” for trading the All-Pro edge rusher to their team.
Parsons’ point about the facilities being better than what he had with his old team does have some credence. Lambeau Field is regarded as one of the best and most iconic stadiums in the NFL. According to the NFL players survey, the Packers’ locker room ranked 12th, while the weight and training rooms both ranked fifth in the league. For the Cowboys, the locker room ranked fifth and the weight room was 11th best, but the training room was woefully behind Green Bay’s, ranking 27th in the NFL.
There also isn’t any curtain issues at Lambeau Field, unlike at AT&T Stadium, where Jones refuses to admit there’s a problem with the sun in afternoon games.
Even if Parsons was sincere in his assessment, it appeared as though he was taking a shot at Jones and the Cowboys’ organization, again. Jones played an integral role in the details of AT&T Stadium, and everything closely associated with the team’s facilities.
It was a rough night all around for Cowboys fans who watched Parsons dominate with a half-sack, eight pressures of Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, and two forced holding penalties in the first half. The last in spit in the eye for Cowboys fans, who watched as Parsons couldn’t buy a holding penalty with the Cowboys.
#Cowboys EDGE Micah Parsons did not draw a holding penalty in the final 11 games of the 2023 season.
However, he did record 71 pressures and a win rate of 24.8% during that span (via @PFF)

It was a great night for the Packers and Parsons, who couldn’t help himself in taking another swipe at Jones and the Cowboys.
