CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – Cincinnati Bengals owner Mike Brown and his family have made their second appearance on Forbes’ list of the richest people in the United States, and this year’s ranking saw them jump dozens of spots and add $1 billion to their net worth.

The Forbes 400, the ranking of the 400 richest people in America, released Sept. 9, saw Brown and his family rank No. 301 with a net worth of $5 billion. That represents a jump of 37 spots from the Brown family’s 2024 rank of 338, when Forbes estimated their net worth at $3.9 billion.

Forbes in its introduction to the 2025 list wrote that the 400 richest people in America are worth a record $6.6 trillion, gaining $1.2 trillion over the past year. “Tariffs. Inflation. Slowing employment. None of it has hit the fortunes of America’s billionaires,” the publication wrote.
