Sunday NFL betting preview
There’s a big Super Bowl rematch in Kansas City on Sunday as the Chiefs look to avenge their 40-22 loss to the Eagles, which gave Philadelphia its second title in franchise history. The Eagles rode a dominant run game and defense to the championship last year, and the team has the bulk of its key contributors back in the fold this year as well, including Jalen Hurts and 2,000-yard rusher Saquon Barkley. The Chiefs also return their key players from a year ago, but it’s unclear how much longer the team will have tight end Travis Kelce as well as legendary head coach Andy Reid.
Philly opened the year with a 24-20 win over the Dallas Cowboys in the first game of the 2025 season, with fireworks flying early before the game slowed down tremendously after a lightning delay. The Chiefs are 0-1 after a loss in Brazil last Friday to the Los Angeles Chargers, and Patrick Mahomes and Co. will look to avoid a dreaded 0-2 start when they host the Eagles.
