Sunday’s matchup will be historic for the Cowboys, who play their 1,000th regular-season game. Russell Wilson and the New York Giants are in town for a Week 2 battle between NFC East teams at AT&T Stadium.

– 2:00 left in the fourth: Dak Prescott and the Cowboys are looking to regain the advantage. A defensive pass interference gives them a new set of downs as the two-minute warning arrives.

– 2:44 left in the fourth: New York has responded. After forcing a crucial fourth down near the red zone, Dallas’ defense lost track of receiver Wan’Dale Robinson.

The Giants are back in front, thanks to Robinson’s 32-yard touchdown grab on fourth down. Giants lead by three. Giants 30, Cowboys 27

– 6:14 left in the fourth: And just like that, the Cowboys have regained the advantage. A productive drive that was powered by the Dak Prescott-CeeDee Lamb connection ends with seven points.

– 12:09 left in the fourth: The Cowboys have lost the lead. Dallas again ran out of answers for New York’s offense, this time seeing rookie running back Cam Skattebo break through for a 24-yard gain near the red zone. Skattebo finished the drive off with a 1-yard touchdown run.

– 14:13 left in the fourth: No touchdown for the Cowboys, but they do find a way to extend their lead. Dak Prescott faced some pressure, gaining only three yards on third-and-16 at the Giants’ 29.

Third quarter

– End of the third: Dallas is driving again as the quarter comes to an end. Dak Prescott and the Cowboys will have the ball at the Giants’ 23 when the fourth quarter begins. A touchdown at this point in the game could be big for a Dallas team hoping to pull away.

– 5:38 left in the third: A coverage bust led to another big play from Russell Wilson and the Giants. New York picked up 52 yards after a big reception from Darius Slayton. They couldn’t make it into the end zone.

Dallas’ pass rush forced the Giants to settle for a field goal. Graham Gano connected from 33 yards out to trim Dallas’ lead. Cowboys 17, Giants 16

– 7:20 left in the third: The Cowboys have finally taken the lead. After picking up some yardage from a defensive penalty, Dak Prescott put the ball in Javonte Williams’ hands. The running back then weaved through the Giants’ defense for a 30-yard touchdown run.

– 10:20 left in the third: The Cowboys’ defense finds a positive outcome after the Dak Prescott interception. The Giants faced fourth-and-1 near Dallas’ goal line. Russell Wilson tried to connect with his target to convert. Instead, the pass fell incomplete for the turnover on downs.

-14:42 left in the third: It’s not looking too great for the Cowboys offense to start the second half. Dak Prescott was targeting CeeDee Lamb up the middle of the field when Giants cornerback Dru Phillips came down with an interception.

Second quarter

– End of the second quarter: Penalties stopped any momentum Dallas had to close the half. The Cowboys couldn’t stop the clock to give Brandon Aubrey a chance to tie the game. Dallas trails 13-10 at the break.

Russell Wilson has gone 17-for-20 through the air for 235 yards and a touchdown to lead the Giants. Dak Prescott is 14-for-21 for 137 yards and a touchdown to lead the Cowboys.

– 2:24 left in the second: It’s been a wild game full of wild penalty calls. Four penalties were called on one play during Dallas’ last drive. Facing a third-and-goal, Dak Prescott found KaVontae Turpin for a 10-yard touchdown pass. Cowboys are showing some signs of life. Giants 13, Cowboys 10

– 5:37 left in the second: The Cowboys are struggling to find answers for the Giants’ passing attack. New York drove 70 yards downfield on five plays, finishing their drive with a 29-yard touchdown pass from Russell Wilson to Malik Nabers.

Giants are up by 10 in the second quarter. Giants 13, Cowboys 3

– 8:51 left in the second: It appeared the Cowboys finally found their offensive rhythm. A long, sustained drive ends with a Brandon Aubrey field goal. Dak Prescott had some positive plays on the drive, highlighted by a 34-yard connection with CeeDee Lamb.

Aubrey connected from 51 yards out. Cowboys cut into the early deficit. Giants 6, Cowboys 3

– 14:09 left in the second: Nothing going for the Cowboys… again. Another three-and-out for Dallas. The Cowboys have yet to find an offensive rhythm. Now they’ll look to slow Russell Wilson and the Giants down.

First quarter

– End of the first: The Giants own a 6-0 lead after one quarter. New York has dominated time of possession early, holding the ball for 12:31. Russell Wilson has completed 11 of 14 passes for 153 yards. Dak Prescott is 2-for-3 for 7 yards.

Cowboys have possession to start the second.

– 1:09 left in the first: Another long drive from the Giants ends with a field goal attempt. Russell Wilson found Malik Nabers for some big gains, but Dallas came up with a stop at the right time. Gano hits from 33 yards out to extend New York’s lead. Giants 6, Cowboys 0

– 4:58 left in the first: Dallas’ first drive goes nowhere. The Cowboys couldn’t pick up a first down, despite facing a fourth-and-1. A delay of game penalty pushed the team back, meaning they opted to punt. Dallas’ defense takes the field again.

– 6:15 left in the first: New York’s opening drive ends with a 38-yard field goal from Graham Gano. The Giants had some big plays, including a 50-yard completion from Russell Wilson to Wan’Dale Robinson. Each time New York gained momentum, a penalty slowed things down.

– 7:47 left in the first: It’s a long first drive for the New York Giants. The Cowboys faced a close call on the opening kickoff, but saw everything reversed by a holding penalty.
