The Buffalo Bills taught us plenty about the team in Week 2.

The Bills (2-0) completely whooped the New York Jets (0-2) in their first road game of the year at MetLife Stadium. The final was 30-10 but it was not even that close.

In such a promising game, there is plenty to learn.

With that, here are three things we learned from the Bills’ win over the Jets in Week 2:

The Bills got all the heroics required from quarterback Josh Allen in Week 1’s comeback win against the Baltimore Ravens.

The favor was repaid at MetLife Stadium. The ground game took over.

Allen played his part with six carries for 59 yards. It was still running back James Cook who stole the show. Cook had 132 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries.

By essentially every metric, the Bills defense completely stuffed the Jets offense.

Jets quarterback Justin Fields only completed three passes. Their only touchdown was in garbage time. The ground game was eliminated nearly instantly.

Are there still concerns for the Bills defense against a top-tier team? Certainly, but this is a massive confidence booster.

Let’s round out with something simple.

The Jets were optimistic heading into the 2025 NFL season. A new-look team.

If Week 2 said anything? It’s still the Bills who are the class of the AFC East.
