Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor updates on the status of Joe Burrow’s toe injury sustained in Week 2 game against the Jaguars
Linebacker Maema Njongmeta was claimed off the Cincinnati Bengals‘ practice squad by the Carolina Panthers, according to multiple reports.
Njongmeta played in all 17 of the Bengals’ games during his rookie season. He briefly became a starter during the 2024 season after injuries to Logan Wilson and Joe Bachie.
Signed as an undrafted free agent from Wisconsin, Njongmeta recovered Nick Vigil’s blocked punt against Dallas, after the Cowboys’ Amani Oruwariye touched it.
Ahead of the Bengals’ Week 2 win against Jacksonville, the New York Jets claimed receiver Isaiah Williams off the Bengals’ practice squad.
