Cameras caught a fascinating reaction from Indianapolis Colts co-owner and CEO Carlie Irsay-Gordon during one of the club’s play calls against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Carlie Irsay-Gordon and her two sisters, Casey Foyt and Kalen Jackson, inherited the Colts after their father, Jim Irsay, tragically passed away. Mr. Irsay died of cardiac arrest caused by acute pneumonia at the age of 65 on May 21.

The Colts defeated the Broncos 29-28 on a last-second field goal by Spencer Shrader, marking the franchise’s first 2-0 start since 2009. Daniel Jones was near-perfect with 316 passing yards, one touchdown and a rushing score.

During the game, CBS Sports’ cameras caught Irsay-Gordon’s hilarious reaction to one of the Colts’ play calls. We’re not sure which exact play it was, but Ms. Irsay-Gordon was clearly not impressed with it:

In June, Carlie Irsay-Gordon made headlines when she explained why she wears a headset and roams the sidelines during Colts games. Irsay-Gordon said she suggests this “for anyone else that has to pay coaches and GMs millions and millions of dollars,” and could help teams “make a less expensive mistake.”

There’s plenty of football ahead, yes, but it’s hard not to buy the early success of the 2025 Indianapolis Colts. Jones looks like a superstar in a star-studded offense led by Jonathan Taylor, Michael Pittman Jr., Josh Downs and Tyler Warren.

The Colts went 9-8 two years ago with Gardner Minshew II as their main quarterback, and 8-9 a season ago with Anthony Richardson and Joe Flacco. They’ve always been a competitive team under head coach Shane Steichen, but the difference so far is that Indy has a QB who won’t make back-breaking mistakes.

\As noted by Cameron DaSilva of Rams Wire, 63 percent of teams to start a season 2-0 have made the playoffs in the Super Bowl era. So history is very much on the side of the Colts, who have another favorable matchup against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
