It went unnoticed by us until Week 2, but the Arizona Cardinals had a couple of uniform changes. Running back Bam Knight and offensive lineman Jon Gaines have new numbers.
Knight now wears No. 20, which was vacated by DeeJay Dallas when he was cut before the season. Knight had worn No. 35 all offseason. This change shouldn’t be surprising, although he hasn’t ever worn No. 20.

Gaines’ change is more interesting. Assigned No. 59 for his first two NFL seasons, he now wears No. 71. He didn’t wear No. 71 in college, which makes the change interesting.
Who has No. 59? It now belongs to practice squad defensive lineman Denzel Daxon.
