Clifford was released by the Green Bay Packers, the team that drafted him, before the season, leaving him searching for his next squad.

The former Nittany Lion found it with the Bengals, who’s starting quarterback is currently Jake Browning. Practice squad member Brett Rypien was the only other gunslinger in Cincinnati before Clifford’s signing.

Cincinnati also reportedly signed Mike White to its practice squad.
