NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Mike Keith, the longtime Tennessee Titans play-by-play announcer, is headed into the franchise’s Ring of Honor. A ceremony is set for halftime at Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Keith, who now serves as the Voice of the Vols, spent nearly three decades (1998 through 2024) calling for the Titans. He’ll be the 19th member of the team’s Ring of Honor.
Born and raised in Middle Tennessee, Keith attended Battle Ground Academy in Franklin before graduating from the University of Tennessee. During his 27 seasons with the Titans, he called 535 games.
“Few individuals have had as profound an impact on the Tennessee Titans as Mike Keith,” Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk said when Keith left the franchise. “From the moment we announced our relocation to Tennessee, Mike became more than just a broadcaster; he became the voice that welcomed an entire state to our team. With his passion, professionalism, and unmistakable energy, Mike introduced countless Tennesseans to who we are, starting with those first pre-game moments on Tennessee stations that carried our games.
Now, Keith calls for the University of Tennessee and cohosts Volunteer Gameday on the Tennessee Valley Sports Network.
Kickoff for the game against the Colts is set for noon.
