Even with the win against the Broncos on Sunday, the Colts’ defense struggled at times throughout without two of its key starters, earning an overall performance grade of 55.1 from Pro Football Focus (for reference, they earned 70.1 overall grade in Week 1 vs. the Dolphins). With the first division game of the season fast-approaching, Wednesday was a good sign for the Colts in terms of getting their defense back to full strength.
Tight end Tyler Warren (toe) and wide receiver Josh Downs (ankle) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
