The first injury report of the week is out for the Washington Commanders, and it featured quarterback Jayden Daniels. That’s not a surprise considering Daniels suffered a knee sprain in last Thursday’s loss to the Green Bay Packers.
Daniels did not practice on Wednesday, but head coach Dan Quinn gave an update on Daniels’ progress.

“Jayden had a good rehab session today,” Quinn said. “He also threw out on the field. He won’t practice today. And then as we get into Friday, I’ll give you an assessment of where we’re at as far as after we go through practice on Friday.”
Daniels usually speaks to the media on Wednesday, and it was backup Marcus Mariota who spoke after practice. What does that mean? Wait until Friday.
Here is Washington’s injury report for Wednesday:
Did not participate
WR Noah Brown (groin/knee)
OLB Von Miller (NIR/rest)
LT Laremy Tunsil (NIR/rest)
Limited participant
G Brandon Coleman (shoulder)
RB Jeremy McNichols (hamstring)
Full participant
The Raiders are coming off a late Monday night game. The game did not kick off until 10 p.m. ET. However, Las Vegas’ first injury report of the week was pretty light.
The Commanders and Raiders will kick off at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday from Northwest Stadium.
