The last time the Green Bay Packers played in Cleveland during the regular season was Dec. 10, 2017. The Browns finished a perfect 0-16 that year and the average get-in ticket price on the secondary market for the Packers game was $13.
How little things have changed. The Browns are still a team in disarray and the average get-in price is $99, which in this economy eight years later gives much the same signal. The game will begin at noon Sept. 21 (1 p.m. Eastern time) at Huntington Bank Field in downtown Cleveland. It is the only noon start for the Packers in their first seven games.

Something for the Packers to be aware of: The Browns were 0-11 when Green Bay game to town. The Packers, who finished the year 7-9, won 27-21 in overtime on a Davante Adams touchdown pass from — wait for it — Brett Hundley, his third TD pass of the day. His second TD pass also was to Adams, with 17 seconds left in the game, and the Mason Crosby extra point tied it 21-21, forcing overtime.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love drops back to pass on Aug. 10, 2024, during the first quarter of a preseason game against the Browns in Cleveland.
Weather forecast is for hot and sunny
The National Weather Service says Sept. 21 will be mostly sunny and hot in Cleveland, with a high of 86.
Browns uniforms will be … brown
The Cleveland Browns will wear what they are calling their “Alpha Dawg” all-brown uniforms, including with brown helmets. It will be the first time they’ve worn brown helmets.

The Packers, of course, wore their all-white uniforms in the Sept. 11 game against the Washington Commanders, including white helmets. That was the second year the Packers wore that combination.
How to get to Huntington Bank Field

Passes are required for parking lots near the field, but many municipal lots are located downtown. Advertised rates are between $25 and $80.

Browns’ stadium ranks just below league’s midpoint
Huntington Bank Field is ranked 17th among NFL stadiums by USA TODAY and 20th by Sports Illustrated.
“A stadium often overshadowed by the garbage heaps either on the field or in the front office above it. Newly named Huntington Bank Field has a solid location, good sight lines, and relatively inexpensive amenities. For years it’s been a destination for visiting fans, who generally leave pleasantly surprised,” wrote Christian D’Andrea for USA TODAY.
When do gates open at Huntington Bank Field?
Gates open two hours before game time, which would be 11 a.m. in Cleveland.

Where can you watch the Packers-Browns game?
The game will be on Fox beginning at noon. It will be broadcast from Pittsburgh to western Montana, and for a change Packers fans in western Wisconsin won’t be forced to watch the Vikings, who are on CBS at noon.
Kevin Kugler will do play-by-play for Fox, with Daryl Johnston as analyst and Allison Williams as sideline reporter.
Here’s where to listen to the game on radio
Packers games can be heard on the Packers Radio Network, which includes 54 stations in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, North Dakota and South Dakota. WRNW-Milwaukee — 97.3 The Game — is the flagship station. Wayne Larrivee does play-by-play and two-time Packers Pro Bowler Larry McCarren provides analysis.

The radio broadcast will be streamed at Packers.com. The Packers mobile app will stream the radio broadcast within the Packers’ home market, per NFL broadcast restrictions. Fans within the Packers’ local home marketing area can watch the game on packers.com.
Cleveland is 24th largest market, Green Bay the smallest
The Cleveland metro area is 2.2 million people to Green Bay’s 328,268. Green Bay’s metro area, which includes Brown, Oconto and Kewaunee counties, is the smallest in the NFL.
