Former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Mohamed Sanu has decided to officially retire from the NFL.
Sanu, a third-round pick by the Bengals in 2012, spent the first four years of his career in Cincinnati before moving on to Atlanta via free agency.

Technically, Sanu suited up for a handful of teams from 2019-2020 before an eight-game stint with the San Francisco 49ers in 2021.

During his time with the Bengals, Sanu was a highly successful No. 2-3, catching 152 passes for 1,793 yards and 11 scores while averaging 11.8 yards per catch. He was a brief staple of the Andy Dalton era on the same depth chart as AJ Green and Marvin Jones, among others.
