On Friday, the Pittsburgh Steelers were busy. The Steelers rookie camp was in full swing and the organization took advantage of having these players at the facilities by inking six of their seven picks from the 2025 NFL draft to their rookie contracts.
The Steelers signed running back Kaleb Johnson, EDGE Jack Sawyer, defensive tackle Yahya Black, quarterback Will Howard, linebacker Jacob Bruener and cornerback Donte Kent to their rookie deals. This means only first-round pick, defensive tackle Derrick Harmon, is unsigned. Harmon’s contract will fall in line with the rest of the first round and will be a full, guaranteed contract. Last year’s No. 21 overall pick was edge defender Chop Robinson, who signed a  4 year, $16,213 million contract that is fully guaranteed.
The Steelers also signed 8 undrafted free agents to contracts on Friday, including safety Sebastian Castro and wide receiver Roc Taylor. Those are the two UDFAs with the best chance to make the final 53-man roster out of this class.
