After a historic first season, the “Arizona Cardinals Girls High School Flag Football Game of the Week presented by State Farm” will return to Arizona’s Family Sports in 2025.

As part of the club’s commitment to growing the game, the Cardinals became the first NFL team to produce and broadcast a weekly girls high school flag football game last year. The “Game of the Week” series returns as Arizona enters its third season with girls flag football sanctioned by the Arizona Interscholastic Association.

Multiple West Valley teams will be competing in the featured games, including Goodyear’s Desert Edge, Buckeye’s Canyon View and Verrado and Glendale’s Mountain Ridge.

Each game will begin at 6 p.m. and showcase some of Arizona’s best flag football talent, including 22 players who participated in the Arizona Cardinals Local All-Stars Media Day on July 26.

For the second straight season, a Player of the Game will be selected from the winning team and presented with a trophy and Cardinals gear. The winning coach will also receive a signed football from Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon, a personalized plaque and a $1,250 check on behalf of the NFL Foundation and Arizona Cardinals Foundation to support the school’s girls flag football program.

Each matchup will be a live, fully produced 90-minute broadcast with play-by-play, analysis and sideline reporting. Games will air on Arizona’s Family Sports and stream on azcardinals.com and the Cardinals app. They will also re-air on Arizona’s Family Sports on Saturdays throughout the season.

“The excitement in our first year was palpable,” said Debbie Bush, vice president and general manager for Arizona’s Family. “We are excited to continue to shine a light on these young women as they blaze a trail for those coming behind them.”
