The Carolina Panthers are in the win column here in 2025.
Sunday’s NFC South showdown with the visiting Atlanta Falcons resulted in a 30-0 triumph for the Panthers. Not only did the outing produce their first victory of the campaign, but it also gave them their first shutout since Week 11 of the 2020 campaign.

So, yeah, you know head coach Dave Canales was feeling good in the locker room afterwards . . .
“It felt great,” Canales stated. “It felt great to be in Bank of America Stadium with our fans. I felt the support. You look around, and it was all Panthers fans. There was a sprinkling of the Falcons group that came to watch the game, as close as we are.
“But I know the guys feed off of that and it’s something that I saw happen last week on the road and tried to remind the guys, ‘We bring the juice. We’re the ones that have to get this started.’ And it’s infectious, and it spreads.”
To the surprise of many, the Panthers defense infected the Falcons with a bad case of turnovers. Carolina forced five turnovers—including two interceptions, two on downs and one fumble recovery to end the contest.
