JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WCYB) — The ETSU football team celebrated a hard-fought victory on Saturday night, overcoming a two-hour weather delay to defeat Elon and break a brief two-game losing streak.
Senior receiver Ephraim Floyd played a pivotal role in the Bucs’ success, recording 12 receptions for 145 yards. Reflecting on his performance, E said, “I mean, we do it every day in practice, so it’s just a lot of reps, so it’s natural. I appreciate my quarterback and obviously for believing in me and put me in that position.”
Head coach Will Healy praised E’s consistent contributions to the team. “He has showed up and been a difference maker every single week,” Healy said. “But my favorite thing about what he has done is he’s allowed us to be able to help him grow as a person, and he’s now become a massive leader for us.”
