For Fred Warner, this year is shaping up to be a year of momentum and growth, both on and off the field. Fresh off signing a three-year, $63 million extension with the 49ers, which made him the highest-paid linebacker in the league, Warner remains the heartbeat of San Francisco’s defense. So much so that Brock Purdy calls Warner a “first-ballot Hall of Famer.” And with the 49ers starting the season strongly with a 3-0 record, things are looking up for Warner, on and off the field.

Just hours before her husband, Fred Warner, took the field for the 49ers against the Cardinals, Sydney Warner dropped a major update on Instagram. The accompanying caption said it all, as Sydney wrote, “Baby Warner #2 coming 2026 🤍✨ Living the best days of our lives 🙏🏽.” She further paired her announcement with a biblical verse from Jeremiah 1:5, writing, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.”

For the Warners, this is familiar ground. On March 7, 2024, they welcomed their first child, Beau Anthony, just weeks after Fred played in Super Bowl LVIII. Through her Instagram, Sydney said Beau’s birth was “the best day of our lives.” And, even Fred admitted, “Holding him for the first time, I knew my life had a new purpose.” But Beau Anthony’s birth wasn’t a smooth sailing for the couple, as their baby suffered from clogged tear ducts for 17 months after his birth.

Sydney Hightower opened up about the complications Beau Anthony faced. “The past 17 months of Beau’s entire life, he has had clogged tear ducts! One eye cleared at around 13 months and then the other. We treated it with special drops month after month, prescription after prescription, and nothing would help it open,” wrote Sydney.

And 17 months after his birth, Beau underwent a successful surgery. Giving an update on that, Sydney wrote, “Thankfully, our surgery was only an hour, but thinking about families that have to endure hours upon hours of surgeries that are 100% more risky than this literally breaks my heart,” Sydney admitted. And when Beau returned, relief took over. She wrote, “And just like that, time started moving again, and my baby is healthy and can finally have clear eyes! Praise God.”

Now, as the couple prepares for Baby Warner #2, the NFL community has wasted little time in congratulating the couple.
