The Los Angeles Rams suffered a devastating 33-26 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.
The Rams held a 26-7 lead into the third quarter, but gave up 26 unanswered points as the reigning Super Bowl champions mounted a furious comeback.
Los Angeles had one last opportunity to win the game with a last-second field goal, but Eagles defensive lineman Jordan Davis blocked the attempt and took it to the house for a game-sealing touchdown.
While the Rams didn’t get the result they wanted as a team, veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford surpassed a significant career milestone.

With two passing touchdowns in Week 3, Stafford surpassed former Atlanta Falcons great Matt Ryan to claim the No. 9 spot on the NFL‘s all-time passing touchdown list. The 37-year-old signal -caller now has 382 career passing touchdowns to his name.
Stafford now trails just Tom Brady (649), Drew Brees (571), Peyton Manning (539), Aaron Rodgers (510), Brett Favre (508), Philip Rivers (421), Dan Marino (420) and Ben Roethlisberger (418).
“Nine’s got his name all over the history books,” the Rams announced in a social media post on X.

Stafford completed 19 of his 33 pass attempts for 196 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday’s Week 3 loss.
Though he collected a new personal accolade, Stafford made it known he wasn’t thrilled to come out on the losing end.
“There’s so many other plays in this game that we can learn from and be better,” Stafford said on Sunday. “First and foremost, myself. Disappointed with how I threw it in some instances today. Just go back to it, continue to work hard and know that what you’re doing and the process that we’re doing is the right thing and find ways to win games.”
Through the first three games of the season, Stafford is tied for seventh in the NFL in touchdown passes (five) and he ranks eighth in passing yards (739). He and the Rams will look to get back on track against the 3-0 Indianapolis Colts in Week 4.
