The Dallas Cowboys, coming off a 31-14 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sept. 22, will be without one of their top playmakers when the Green Bay Packers come to town Sept. 28 for Sunday Night Football.

CeeDee Lamb, a four-time Pro Bowler who caught 16 passes for 222 yards through the first two games of the season, is expected to miss at least the next two games with a high-ankle sprain suffered in the loss to Chicago, a game he left after seven snaps.

The game between the Packers and Cowboys, of course, will serve as a homecoming for Micah Parsons, traded by the Cowboys shortly before the start of the season. The man for whom he was traded, Kenny Clark, also left the game against the Bears with an ankle injury and was questionable to return.

Clark has been effective for Dallas, leading the team with nine pressures, but he didn’t come back after the injury. Neither did star cornerback Trevon Diggs, who was also questionable after a shoulder injury.

Starting center Cooper Beebe was placed on injured reserve last week and will also miss the game against the Packers.
