Former Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Mike Hilton has finally done the predictable by joining Lou Anarumo on the Indianapolis Colts.
Those 3-0 Colts agreed to sign Hilton on Monday, reuniting the former Bengals defensive back with Anarumo at a time his defense is surging in ways that will look familiar to Bengals fans.

It was a popular theory amongst fans that the Bengals might re-up with Hilton since he was so readily available.
But those Bengals remain adamant on a youth movement under Al Golden, opting to go with Dax Hill in the slot and Cam Taylor-Britt and others on the boundary.
It’s early, but the Bengals have enjoyed mixed results as Golden gets the young guys on the field for trial-by-fire reps. That’s probably the shrewd move in the long run, though Anarumo going for veteran guys to round out what looks like an elite defense certainly makes sense, too.
