There are three top-20 showdowns on the Week 5 college football schedule, starting with No. 13 Ole Miss vs. No. 4 LSU at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. Ole Miss is a slight -120 home favorite in that contest, and SportsLine’s proven computer model is including the Rebels in its best bets for Saturday’s biggest college football games. Other games it is targeting are No. 3 Penn State (-3.5) vs. No. 6 Oregon and No. 5 Georgia (-3) vs. No. 17 Alabama. Check out the SportsLine Projection Model’s picks for all three games in this exclusive college football parlay available at FanDuel Sportsbook.
The model simulates every game 10,000 times and has generated a betting profit of well over $2,000 for $100 players on its top-rated college spread football picks, and is a profitable 35-22 combined on money-line and over/under college football picks since the beginning of 2024.

Ole Miss money line vs. LSU (-120, FanDuel)
The home team has come out on top in each of the last two meetings in this rivalry, and Ole Miss has that significant advantage on Saturday. Ole Miss also has an offense that will test LSU’s defense more than any team so far this season, as the Rebels rank ninth nationally in total offense and 12th in scoring. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss has stepped up with a pair of impressive performances, but Austin Simmons (ankle) could return this week. The Tigers did not score more than 23 points in any of their first three games, and the model has Ole Miss winning in 63% of simulations.Â
Oregon +3.5 vs. Penn State (-110, FanDuel)
Oregon took down Penn State in last season’s Big Ten title game, giving the Ducks a mental edge heading into this contest. New quarterback Dante Moore has been outstanding as Dillon Gabriel’s replacement, racking up 962 yards, 11 touchdowns and just one interception. Tight end Kenyon Sadiq scored twice against Penn State in the conference championship, and he has scored in three of Oregon’s first four games this season. The Ducks rank seventh in scoring offense and 12th in total offense, and the model has Oregon covering 54% of the time.Â
Alabama +2.5 vs. Georgia (+102, FanDuel)
Alabama desperately needs a signature victory on Saturday night to avoid falling to 2-2 this season. The Crimson Tide are coming off dominant wins over Louisiana-Monroe and Wisconsin, covering the spread in both contests. They had the week off last week to prepare for this game. Georgia has been overvalued by the betting market thus far, failing to cover the spread in each of its first three games. The Bulldogs are just 11-21-1 against the spread in their last 33 home games, so the model has Alabama covering in 53% of simulations. Â
