Davante Adams and Rob Havenstein missed practice with soreness, while five other Rams were limited to start the week.

The Los Angeles Rams will try to bounce back from their heartbreaking loss to the Philadelphia Eagles when they host the Indianapolis Colts this weekend. It’s their first home game since Week 1, so it’ll be good for them to be back at SoFi Stadium in front of a home crowd against a 3-0 opponent.

The Rams have been without Steve Avila for the last two games due to an ankle injury suffered in Week 1, and Braden Fiske has also been limited in the last two weeks because of an oblique tweak. Both players have made progress entering Week 4, however, which is good news for Los Angeles.

After coming out of Week 3 without any major injuries, the Rams are primarily monitoring players who were banged up in the first two games, including Avila and Fiske.

There were a lot of players either limited or held out of the first practice, though Sean McVay didn’t express much concern about the absences of Rob Havenstein or Davante Adams, who were both dealing with soreness.

Here’s the initial injury report for the week after Wednesday’s practice.

Rams vs. Colts injury report

A total of five players were limited, three of them being starters. It’s encouraging to see Avila as a limited participant after missing two games, and hopefully Fiske is continuing to make progress in his rehab, too.

The Colts have plenty of injury concerns of their own, with DeForest Buckner, Matt Goncalves, Kenny Moore and Alec Pierce all missing practice. Their statuses will be monitored leading up to Sunday’s game.
