Lions WR Williams on his approach to game when not getting the ball

Williams said that he’s focused more on winning than catches, and that there are so many stars on the Lions for the ball to go to.

The Detroit Lions have a new injury to monitor on defense.

The Lions added linebacker Zach Cunningham to their injury report Thursday with a hamstring injury.

Cunningham, the team’s fourth linebacker, made two tackles as part of a goal-line stand late in the first half of last week’s win over the Baltimore Ravens. He was limited in practice Thursday after he did not appear on Wednesday’s estimated report.

Left tackle Taylor Decker (shoulder), safety Daniel Thomas (forearm) and running back Sione Vaki (groin) did not practice Thursday, while linebacker Derrick Barnes (knee) and defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad (knee) were limited.

Starting offensive linemen Jack Conklin and Joel Bitonio were limited for the Browns, who lost starting tackle Dawand Jones to a season-ending knee injury last week.
