Good afternoon, 12s. Here’s a look at what’s going on out there and any news you might have missed, about your Seattle Seahawks.
Seahawks Road Win Against Divisional Opponent Arizona Cardinals
The Seahawks came up with a win in the desert on Thursday night to move to 3-1 and secure their third straight win. The win came down to a 52-yard field goal by Jason Myers, who knocked it down to secure the 23-20 victory.
After the game, head coach Mike Macdonald said, It’s a great win. I’m just really proud of our team, how hard we’re playing, how we’re sticking together, the positivity, (and) the fight. Just a really great win. It’s a short week, you’re on the road, (and) Arizona played a good game… that’s a good football team we played, we know that. They did a good job of staying in the game and giving themselves a chance to win. Having said that, we didn’t play our best game, and we had opportunities to put the game away throughout the second half. There are a lot of learning experiences that we’re going to be able to take from this game so we can improve. The good news is we figured out a way to win the game, which after Week 1… we felt like we had an opportunity to win that game and we didn’t figure it out. I feel like our team’s growing, we’re getting better, just really proud of our guys in the fight and the effort this week to get ready to go play their best football. It’ll be good to have a break and then hit the ground running on Monday and get ready for Tampa Bay.”
