Joe Burrow had surgery to repair his turf toe injury a week ago.

And today, for the first time, he shared how he’s feeling, writing on Instagram, “This game will break your heart. See you soon.”

Burrow puts everything he has into playing, so you just know he’s very frustrated with his lack of availability for an extended period for the third time in his short NFL career.

You also know he will push through and do everything he can to be back out there on the field.

He’s already back around his teammates, moving around the Bengals’ facility in Cincinnati in a rolling scooter.

Of course, he won’t be traveling with the team when they head to Denver to face the Broncos on Monday Night Football.

Without Burrow, Jake Browning and the offense struggled terribly against the Minnesota Vikings, turning the ball over five times.

If they want to have a chance in Denver, they will need to clean things up significantly.

We previewed that game with Henry Chisholm of the popular DNVR podcast. You can watch below.
