The anticipation for the Pittsburgh Steelers‘ Week 4 Ireland game is palpable — a belief clearly shared with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

On Saturday, Goodell addressed the excitement surrounding the Steelers‘ long-awaited Ireland trip — revealing his high hopes for Pittsburgh’s international matchup vs. the Minnesota Vikings.

“I think it’ll be the highest-rated game that we’ve had for that 9:30 a.m. window,” Goodell said while speaking at a music venue in Dublin.

The Vikings, one of the most successful international teams in the NFL, facing off against the uber-popular Steelers with deep Irish roots in the heart of Dublin, will undoubtedly break viewership records for a 9:30 a.m. timeslot.

The game isn’t without cause for concern, however, as several big injuries are impacting both teams heading into Sunday’s international matchup — with the exception of Steelers RB Jaylen Warren, who received a positive knee injury update ahead of the contest.
