Brendan O’Sullivan provides his top player prop bets for Sunday’s Detroit Lions vs. Cleveland Browns matchup.

After a blocked field goal led to an upset victory against the Packers, the Browns continue their NFC North tour against the Lions.

Detroit hosts this non-conference matchup coming off a signature 38-30 win against Baltimore.

The Lions are 10-point favorites and -535 on the moneyline, while the Browns are +400 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 44.5 points.

Here are my three favorite player props for this Week 4 NFL game between the Lions and Browns.

Lions vs. Browns Best Prop Bets

Quinshon Judkins over 58.5 rushing yards (-115)

Quinshon Judkins made his NFL debut in Week 2 against the Ravens, but he took an even greater leap during Week 3 against the Packers.

The rookie running back rushed for 94 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries. It was an impressive performance in just his second NFL game. He’ll get a matchup against the Lions defense in Week 4, which proves beneficial for the young rusher.

Detroit allows the 11th fewest rushing yards and 18th fewest rushing touchdowns to opposing teams this year. While the team does allow just the eighth fewest rush attempts per game, that’s because the Lions are often leading. Trailing teams are more likely to pass the ball to attempt a quick comeback.

This could be worrisome for those looking to bet on Judkins’ rushing yards, but rest assured that the Lions won’t run away with the game too early. Although the Browns are 1-2, they’ve kept games close with two playoff-caliber teams. They beat the Packers in Week 3 and lost by one to the Joe Burrow-led Bengals in Week 1.

Even in Week 2’s blowout loss to the Ravens, Judkins reached 61 rushing yards. He should have no problem finding holes in the Lions’ defense.

Jahmyr Gibbs under 64.5 rushing yards (-113)

I’m fading Jahmyr Gibbs this week against the Browns. Cleveland’s record may not show it, but it’s been an excellent defensive unit to start the season. The run defense, specifically, has been one of the best in the league.

It allows the fewest rushing yards and yards per attempt and second fewest rushing touchdowns in the NFL this season. This isn’t against weak opponents either. The Browns stymied Chase Brown, Derrick Henry, Lamar Jackson and Josh Jacobs.

To be fair, Brown has struggled all season, but Henry, Jackson and Jacobs each had their worst rushing games against Cleveland. The Lions are slightly different than the Bengals, Ravens and Packers in that they have two Pro Bowl caliber running backs. Still, the Browns will slow them down.

Gibbs typically gets the bulk of the work and thus has the higher over/under line. Let’s roll with another Browns defensive masterclass, even if the Lions crush them through the air.

Amon-Ra St. Brown anytime touchdown (+105)

Well, if I’m fading the Lions run game, someone has to score, right? Amon-Ra St. Brown has been a touchdown machine for Detroit this season. He’s scored four times in three weeks, although three of those came against Chicago in Week 2.

Nonetheless, St. Brown is the top target for Jared Goff and will continue to be favored in the red zone. With the Browns placing emphasis on stopping the run, St. Brown should see some openings down field.
