Usually, ESPN analyst Mina Kimes is trending on social media because of a sharp football take. That’s not exactly the case this week.
Kimes, an award-winning journalist, initially joined ESPN The Magazine in 2014. She was previously an investigative reporter for Bloomberg News. By June 2020, she was named an analyst for the Worldwide Leader In Sports. Fans can see her every weekday on “NFL Live” during the fall.

With that said, Kimes has been quite busy this September. Not only does she continue to host her own podcast, she’s constantly making appearances on ESPN’s top shows, including “First Take.”

Speaking of the NFL season, Week 3 season wrapped up with the Detroit Lions and Baltimore Ravens on “Monday Night Football.” Kimes took a trip to M&T Bank Stadium to watch this thrilling matchup.
Several hours before kickoff, Kimes shared a photo from Baltimore’s stadium on X. She wore a black dress that clearly grabbed everyone’s attention. In fact, her post currently has 5.9 million views.

“My queen,” one fan commented.
“Mina is the goat,” a second fan wrote.
“Very pretty, and insanely smart,” a third fan said.
“Looking amazing Mina,” a social media user added.
Kimes recently defended her ESPN co-worker.
There has been a lot of criticism surrounding ESPN analyst Ryan Clark this season. A lot of the heat he’s getting is due to his harsh interaction with Peter Schrager on “Get Up.”
During an appearance on the “SI Media” podcast with Jimmy Traina last week, Kimes let everyone know she won’t tolerate any criticism directed towards Clark.

“I’ll tell you who doesn’t think (you have to be a former player to analyze the NFL), is Ryan Clark. Because he has been probably one of my biggest advocates since I started doing this job,” Kimes said, via Awful Announcing. “And people always ask me, is it hard because of your gender, and I say, yeah maybe because of fans. But so much of my career I attribute to the former players, especially the main guys on NFL Live that I work with, because they have done such a fantastic job. Not just behind the scenes, we have so many conversations about football, I can send them clips and they can answer questions. But on camera too, if you ever watch a show, they sell me, frankly, to our viewers in a way that I believe has been instrumental in me doing the job I do.”
One thing is certain: Kimes isn’t going to throw her teammates under the bus.
