The second international game of the 2025 NFL season is underway in Dublin, Ireland, with the Minnesota Vikings (2-1) taking on the “host team” Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1). Both franchises are coming off Week 3 wins and look to continue their winning ways across the pond. This meeting also serves as the first regular-season NFL game in Ireland.
Early Sunday, it was the Steelers who looked like they adjusted better to playing overseas. With Jaylen Warren a surprise inactive due to a knee injury, Kenny Gainwell got the scoring starting, punching in a short touchdown to give the Steelers a 7-3 lead.

It didn’t take long for Pittsburgh to add to that lead. On the team’s next drive, Aaron Rodgers found DK Metcalf on a slant. Metcalf evaded defenders after the catch, rumbling for an 80-yard score to go up 14-3.
It marks the first big test for Vikings quarterback Carson Wentz, who took over for JJ McCarthy in Week 3. Wentz has struggled early against the Steelers’ defense, running into a few sacks. But with weapons like Justin Jefferson — and the return of wideout Jordan Addison — Wentz has the players to get the Vikings back into the contest.
Though the Vikings haven’t yet managed to score a touchdown, Wentz has found some early rhythm with Jefferson to match Metcalf’s dominance in the first half. Jefferson and Metcalf have combined for 219 receiving yards and a score on 12 catches through the first two quarters of the game.
