Baker Mayfield had a decent game, throwing for 289 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, along with getting sacked twice. Overall, the Buccaneers lost the game 31-25, trailing throughout, but they made a strong push back into the game in the fourth quarter. Being down 31-13 near the end of the third quarter, Mayfield, rookie receiver Emeka Egbuka and running back Bucky Iving were able to get their team back into the game, but ultimately were unable to secure the win.

The loss puts the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at a 3-1 record, still holding on to the number 1 seed in the NFC South. Mayfield and the Buccaneers play their next game on Oct. 5 at 3:05 p.m. against the Seattle Seahawks.
