Ravens vs. Texans picks against the spread
Jon Hoefling: Baltimore Ravens (-3.5)
A 1-3 start is unbecoming of the Ravens. This should be a massive win for a team that should feast on Houston’s horrendous offensive line.
Tyler Dragon: Houston Texans (+3.5)
The Ravens defense is a mess right now. They can’t stop anybody. To make matters worse, Lamar Jackson will likely miss this game due to a hamstring injury.
Richard Morin: Baltimore Ravens (-3.5)
Houston had a statement win against the lowly Titans, but the Ravens are looking for someone to beat up, even if Lamar Jackson is hobbled.
Lorenzo Reyes: Houston Texans (+3.5)
The Ravens, despite their substandard play, have the far better roster here. They almost certainly won’t have Lamar Jackson. I don’t know that backing a team where Cooper Rush is starting is the play.
Blake Schuster: Baltimore Ravens (-3.5)
Houston’s looking a lot better, but it’s about to visit a Baltimore team that needs a get-right game. This shouldn’t be close.
Christopher Bumbaca: Houston Texans (+3.5)
The Texans will become favorites in this game if the Ravens are indeed without Lamar Jackson. And maybe even C.J. Stroud can get back on track against what has been a dismal Baltimore defense thus far.
