FOX NFL Sunday commentator and New York Giants icon, Michael Strahan, will feature in a fresh installment of ‘Shark Tank’ on Wednesday following his invitation to serve as a guest investor.
Strahan is recognized for his positions on ‘Good Morning America’ and ‘FOX NFL Sunday,’ but established his reputation as a defensive end for the Giants. The 53 year old secured a Super Bowl victory in New York and earned Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2001, and has subsequently shown interest in pursuing minority ownership of the franchise.
The Giants icon is an active investor with a varied portfolio, and Celebrity Net Worth places his wealth at $65 million. Strahan is an enormously popular TV figure and will join as a guest shark on the program. Accompanying the post was an interview with Strahan, who detailed his enthusiasm for joining as a guest shark. “I want to be a shark because I love entrepreneurship,” Strahan said.
“I love to compete. I love to win. What I admire about ‘Shark Tank’ is that every time you watch it, you learn something.
“You learn a new question to ask. You learn a new way to look into a business. There’s always someone to root for. I think that’s the greatest joy in life, bringing people along, building people up.

“Life isn’t always fair. Life isn’t always easy. But there’s nothing better when you see someone who has truly gone on to make it. It gives hope. And that’s what ‘Shark Tank’ means to me.”
Based on Spotrac data, Strahan pulled in $76.4 million in contracts and bonuses during his entire Giants tenure. Beyond his athletic background, Strahan has diversified his portfolio across multiple industries, including food and beverage.
Strahan has backed brands like PopupBagels and Accelerator Active Energy, launched his own clothing line, and holds stakes in consumer products NRG Esports and Jinx.
The Giants icon co-established his own talent management and production enterprise, SMAC Entertainment. Strahan’s wealth becomes even more remarkable considering an expensive divorce settlement in 2006.
Strahan parted ways with his second spouse, Jean Muggli, 19 years ago, though a financial agreement was reached in 2007. The divorce hit Strahan’s finances hard with a reported $15.3 million settlement, including substantial child support obligations for their twin daughters.
