The Detroit Lions continue to look like one of the best teams in the NFL. The Green Bay Packers suffered yet another setback that damaged their reputation as a title contender. The Chicago Bears might have figured things out, while the Vikings are still looking to figure things out.
Here are my takeaways from Week 4 in the NFC North from each team:

(3-1) Detroit Lions
The back-to-back NFC North champs reclaim their spot at the top of the NFC North Division standings once again. After a rough Week 1 game, the Detroit Lions have found their rhythm. Beating the Cleveland Browns is not for every team I guess (a reference to the Packers losing to Cleveland). The Detroit Lions’ offense was humming again and their defense has been dominant. The Lions’ defense put the final nail in the coffin on Joe Flacco’s run as starting quarterback for the Browns. If the Lions remain this balanced, they could finish at the top once again.
(2-1-1) Green Bay Packers
In a game full of momentum, the Packers and Cowboys ended in a tie. This was exactly why Jerry Jones thought moving on from Micah Parsons was a good idea: We saw the Cowboys attack Parsons. Offenses tend to run directly at him, and the Cowboys exposed that notion even further. Any time this Packer offense scores 40 points, that is a game you expect to win with their defense. The last two weeks, by not coming up with victories, should be very concerning. The Packers could go from being early NFC favorites to a team which might not win its division.

As badly as the Vikings played in this game, they still had chances to win. Carson Wentz has not been perfect, but he has made this offense more successful. The Vikings have a better chance to win with Wentz in at quarterback. It will be interesting to see how the Vikings handle the return of J.J. Mccarthy.
The Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams era is officially in full effect. After a poor 0-2 start and one of the worst losses in Bears franchise history against Detroit, the Bears have found their way back to .500 before their break. The Bears are getting multiple key starters back after their off week. After an unorthodox victory against the Raiders, this team could finally be ready to compete.

Overview
The NFC North right now is looking as competitive as ever. Detroit looks like a threat at the top of the NFC, even with a lot of losses this offseason. All though Green Bay is inconsistent they are loaded with talent top to bottom, they will be a playoff team. The Vikings and Bears will be the teams competing to be the third NFC North team to make the playoffs in the NFC and competing to not finish last in this competitive division.
